1. What vehicle connectors does the ZECONEX T Series support? Is it compatible with my EV?

The ZECONEX T Series comes standard with a European Type 2 connector, available in socket or 5 m tethered cable versions. It is widely compatible with mainstream EV brands, including Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen ID models. Any vehicle supporting the Type 2 AC charging standard can plug in and charge directly, no adapter required.

2. Can the unit be installed outdoors? How well is it protected against dust and water?

Yes. The T Series is rated IP55, protecting against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, ideal for outdoor installations such as open parking lots or pedestal mounting. It also meets IK10 impact resistance standards, with a tempered glass panel and galvanized steel enclosure designed to withstand accidental impacts and minor vandalism.

3. Will power be reduced when charging two vehicles simultaneously?

No. The T Series features a dual-channel independent output architecture, allowing each connector to deliver full power. For example, the 44 kW model (2 × 22 kW) can charge two vehicles simultaneously at 22 kW each, with no power sharing or derating—maximizing operational efficiency.

4. How do you prevent unauthorized use or energy theft?

The system supports multiple authentication methods. Operators can issue MIFARE RFID cards for authorized users or generate dynamic access codes via the app for visitors. Charging is disabled without authorization, effectively preventing unauthorized use.

5. Is the metering accuracy certified? How is billing fairness ensured?

The T Series integrates a MID-certified energy meter with an accuracy of ±1%, compliant with legal metrology requirements for commercial billing. Each charging session is precisely recorded and synchronized with the backend billing system, ensuring fair and transparent transactions for both operators and EV drivers.

6. Do faults or offline events require on-site service?

Yes. The T Series is designed to operate in temperatures from -30°C to +55°C, with up to 95% relative humidity. Its fanless natural cooling design eliminates risks of freezing at low temperatures and ensures stable heat dissipation under high temperatures through the large metal enclosure.
